Ok so this officially my first ever blog post.I have been blogging my "story" by that i mean the story of my life on a forum i am part of,but i great friend of mine has three blogs and i have decided perhaps i should give this whole virtual diary a try.
I'm not sure how to start so i suppose i will introduce myself.I am Mandi i am currently 27 years old and 7 months pregnant.I was in prison for 5 years for a crime i didnt commit and that is being stated as it is not only the title to my blog but a HUGE chucnk of my life story up to this point.
So as stated above i am currently 7 months pregnant i am supposedly due October 31st although EVERYONE seems to belive by my stomach size and heigth that i will have him before than,we shall see.I have named him Riley because he was concieved t Fort Riley,Kansas.And having not gotten on my feet since being released from prison and therefore in no position to raise a baby in any manner he deserves i have chosen open adoption.I have "matched" with the PERFECT couple that also live in my town.And through the PERFECT adoption agency i have not only found Rileys family but made several hopefully lifelong friends.I have also found and am in the process of moving into my very first apartment of my own.Which is great as i am currently living with my mother who is my close friend but also way too much like me to be on a regular basis.And i have decided i want to get my CDL's which means i will be driving 18 wheelers for a living.You might make a face at that but in my defense i am not very girlie and i DO have a felony that holds me back from lady like jobs such as banking or teaching,just saying.
So i am makeing alot of BIG life changes and reflecting on alot past mistakes and lessons as i step forward so as not to repeat the past.My life coach (provided by the agency) helps try to fix all of my many issues as well.So here's to hoping!
